What belongs in a useful closure brief?
Five questions that make the decision clearer before a closure or sealing component is selected.
A closure decision is not limited to neck diameter. Container material, product viscosity, filling method, distribution conditions and opening behaviour all need to be understood.
Before requesting a sample
- What is the neck finish and tolerance?
- Which materials will contact the contents?
- How often will the pack be opened and closed?
- What are the storage and transport conditions?
- How will leakage or torque acceptance be defined?
